Plums

Plums, 2008, oil on canvas, 6 x 6 inches

I spent most of the day working in the studio preparing a few canvases for future paintings. I'm enjoying having days off from work during the week, for some reason I stay more focused, since I don't get the usual let's hang out phone calls from friends like during the weekends. It's been a while since I did one of the little one day paintings, and since I had the time and inspiration I went ahead to paint these two plums. It's nice to know that I haven't lost my touch.
