Weekend in the Berkshires

Konkapot River Waterfall, 2013, oil on linen mounted on panel, 12 x 9 inches
Took a four day getaway with some friends for the 4th of July weekend, this has turned out to be a yearly summer ritual that takes us out of the city and into the country. This year we rented a house in the Berkshires, MA, and these are the paintings I got done in the backyard.
Konkapot River, 2013, oil on linen mounted on panel, 9 x 12 inches

Hartsville Mill River Rd. Meadow, 2013, oil on linen mounted on panel, 9 x 12 inches

Other trips in the past years have been Rhinebeck and Woodstock

Hi Georgi, yes all these paintings were done over the weekend. The first one was done completely on site over a period of three hours. The second painting I spent about two hours on site and another two hours indoors, and the final painting I spent almost two hours on site and another hour indoors.
